The Honourable Minister for Health, Dr Osagie Ehanire has announced on Monday while briefing the press in Edo, Benin City, that a new case of Coronavirus infection has been confirmed in Nigeria.
In his statement during the press conference at the Boardroom of University of Benin Teaching Hospital, Ehanire noted that the new case is connected to the index case and not a new importation into the country.
As at today around the world, Coronavirus death case has upsurged to 3,831 while Confirmed case has hit 110,331. China has remained on the top list with 80,739 Confirmed cases and 3,120 deaths.
