The Nigerian Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has taken to their Twitter handle to report that Nigeria has recorded first death from Coronovirus on Monday, 23rd Mach, 2020.
In the tweet, NCDC emphasised that the case was a 67 year old man who had returned from the UK following medical treatment. It was also stated that he had underlying conditions which includes multiple myeloma, diabetes, and was undergoing chemotherapy.
This is happening as Nigeria has recorded 6 more confirmed cases bringing the number to 36.
