Breaking: Lagos tops at 120 as Confirmed cases hit 232

The Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) has recorded 18 new cases today 5th April, 2020 bringing the total number of Confirmed cases to 232.

According to the Agency, as at 11:15am 5th April, there were 6 New cases in Lagos, 2 in FCT and 2 in Edo. 

As at 9:30pm 5th April, there were 5 new cases in Lagos, 2 in FCT and 1 in Kaduna. There was also discharge of 6 New recovered victims of COVID-19 pandemic as at the hour of the report.

The Agency has earlier at 11:15 am reported discharge of 2 recovered victims and 1 death today

Globally as at 11:57 pm today, total confirned cases has hit 1,266,782 while death toll has risen to 69,177. The Recovery rate has dawdled at 261,132.

The United States of America has maintained a week long position as the epicentre of the pandemic with 333,173 Confirmed cases and 9,536 deaths. Improvingly, recovery within the United has risen to 17,177.

Spain has overtaken Italy with 130,854 Confirmed cases while Italy death toll is at 15,887 and Spain  at  12,518.
