N-Power: Server caused recent delay in Payment

A reliable source has it that the recent delay in payment is due to the  malfunction of the Government Integrated Financial Management Information System (GIFMIS) server.

The source disclosed that the server has been rectified and payment of the N-power beneficiaries March Stipend will commence in less than 48 hours. The volunteers are thus encouraged to wear a brave pose while their payments land in their bank accounts.

The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Developement, Sadiya Umar Farouk, has on Tuesday emphasised that her Ministry has done their own part of the payment processes and was assured that payment would commence on Tuesday 14th April, 2020.

The beneficiaries of the N-power program have worn  faces of disappointment since the promise was not fulfilled as has been recurrent from October, 2019.

The tip off that has emerged from the Accountant General of the Federation's office has restated the Federal Governments resolve to sustain the program against the assertion of purported termination that has flooded the speculative social media. It has emphasized that server failure caused further delay as has been observed.
