Kano State has climbed above Abuja on the recent Nigerian chart of COVID-19 incidence report released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC).
NCDC noted that as at 11:50 Pm 30th April, 204 New Confirmed cases were reported, raising the total number of Confirmed cases to 1,932.
The Agency stated that 80 New cases were reported in Kano, 45 in Lagos, 12 in Gombe, 9 in Bauchi, 9 in Sokoto, 7 in Borno, 7 in Edo, 6 in Rivers, 6 in Ogun, 2 in FCT, 4 in Akwaibom, 4 in Bayelsa, 3 in Kaduna, 2 in Oyo, 2 in Delta, 2 in Nasarawa, 1 in Ondo and 1 in Kebbi.
NCDC also reported 7 New deaths and and 12 New recovery bringing total number of death and Recovery to 58 and 319 respectively.

The statistical report from NCDC also indicates that there are 756 Active cases in Lagos, 139 in FCT, 216 in Kano, 13 in Osun, 12 in Oyo, 31 in Edo, 47 in Ogun, 38 in Katsina, 9 in Kwara, 4 in Akwaibom, 32 in Bauchi, 28 in Kaduna, 3 in Delta, 6 in Ondo, 5 in Ekiti, 1 in Enugu, 9 in Rivers, 2 in Niger, 6 in Jigawa, 1 in Benue, 0 in Anambra, 60 in Borno, 76 in Gombe, 2 in Abia and 31 in Sokoto, 2 in Adamawa, 1 in Plateau, 3 in Zamfara, 1 in Imo, 8 in Taraba, 2 in Kebbi, 2 in Ebonyi and 5 in Bayelsa and 3 in Nasarawa and 1 in Yobe.

The recent report from NCDC indicated that the 7 New deaths were reported as 1 in Sokoto, 1 in Kaduna, 1 in Osun, 1 in Akwaibom, 1 in Zamfara, and 1 in Jigawa, 1 in Borno.
The 12 Recovery were reported as 7 in Lagos, 2 in Ogun, 1 in Edo and 1 in Sokoto, 1 in Akwaibom
The death toll as reported by NCDC indicates that Lagos has recorded 21 Deaths, 3 in Abuja, 3 in Kano, 2 in Katsina, 3 in Edo, 2 in Delta, 2 in Akwaibom and 6 in Borno, 2 in Oyo, 1 in Ondo, 1 in Ekiti, 1 in Ogun, 2 in Rivers, 4 in Osun, 4 in Sokoto, 1 in Kaduna, bringing the total death toll to 57.
Analysis from the current report from NCDC indicates that Lagos has 192 recovered victims, 36 in Abuja, 18 in Osun, 10 in Edo, 9 in Oyo, 2 in Ogun, 6 in Kaduna, 10 in Akwaibom, 2 in Ekiti, 2 in Rivers, 2 in Enugu, 2 in Rivers, 2 in Kwara and 6 in Bauchi, 3 in Ondo, 0 in Kano, 6 in Katsina, 0 in Gombe, 4 in Delta, 0 in Borno, 0 in Abia, 0 in Niger, 0 in Jigawa, 0 in Gombe, 1 in Anambra, 0 in Benue and 1 in Sokoto.

With the recovery of the one case found in Anambra, Anamabra, Kogi and Cross River currently do not have active cases in Nigeria out of the 36 States plus FCT.
