Enugu State has recorded a new case of Coronavirus infection barely one week of it's re-emergence after the recovery of the previous two victims in the State.
This is contained in the recent report released by the Nigeria Center for Disease Control (NCDC) on 1st May, 2020.
NCDC noted that as at 1st May, Nigeria has recorded 238 New cases, bringing the sum of cases obtained from 15,759 tested samples to 2,170 confirmed cases.
According to the Agency, 92 cases were reported in Kano, 36 in FCT, 30 in Lagos, 16 in Gombe, 10 in Bauchi, 8 in Delta, 6 in Oyo, 5 in Zamfara, 5 in Sokoto, 4 in Ondo, 4 in Nasarawa, 3 in Kwara, 3 in Edo, 3 in Ekiti, 3 in Borno, 3 in Yobe, 2 in Adamawa, 1 in Niger, 1 in Imo, 1 in Ebonyi, 1 in Rivers and 1 in Enugu.
The recent report from NCDC indicated that there were 10 new deaths and 32 new recovery bringing total death toll and total recovery to 68 and 351 respectively.
Current breakdown is as follows:
Total Confirmed Cases - 2,170

The recent 10 deaths were reported as 7 in Lagos and 3 in Sokoto.
The Recovery were reported in Lagos.
The death toll as reported by NCDC indicates that Lagos has recorded 28 Deaths, 3 in Abuja, 3 in Kano, 2 in Katsina, 3 in Edo, 2 in Delta, 2 in Akwaibom and 6 in Borno, 2 in Oyo, 1 in Ondo, 1 in Ekiti, 1 in Ogun, 2 in Rivers, 4 in Osun, 7 in Sokoto, 1 in Kaduna, bringing the total death toll to 68.
Analysis from the current report from NCDC indicates that Lagos has 225 recovered victims, 36 in Abuja, 18 in Osun, 10 in Edo, 9 in Oyo, 2 in Ogun, 6 in Kaduna, 10 in Akwaibom, 2 in Ekiti, 2 in Rivers, 2 in Enugu, 2 in Rivers, 2 in Kwara and 6 in Bauchi, 3 in Ondo, 0 in Kano, 6 in Katsina, 0 in Gombe, 4 in Delta, 0 in Borno, 0 in Abia, 0 in Niger, 0 in Jigawa, 0 in Gombe, 1 in Anambra, 0 in Benue and 1 in Sokoto.
The statistical report from NCDC also indicates that there are 753 Active cases in Lagos, 175 in FCT, 308 in Kano, 13 in Osun, 18 in Oyo, 34 in Edo, 47 in Ogun, 32 in Katsina, 12 in Kwara, 4 in Akwaibom, 42 in Bauchi, 28 in Kaduna, 11 in Delta, 10 in Ondo, 8 in Ekiti, 2 in Enugu, 10 in Rivers, 3 in Niger, 6 in Jigawa, 1 in Benue, 0 in Anambra, 63 in Borno, 92 in Gombe, 2 in Abia and 31 in Sokoto, 4 in Adamawa, 1 in Plateau, 8 in Zamfara, 2 in Imo, 8 in Taraba, 2 in Kebbi, 3 in Ebonyi and 5 in Bayelsa and 7 in Nasarawa, 4 in Yobe.
