Breaking: N-power changes Application Portal, issues guideline

*Application is for everyone except N-Teach and NHealth which are for graduates only

*Applicant must be a Nigerian between the ages of 18-35 years

*Date of Birth must correspond to that on your BVN details

*Strict measures apply

The Management of the N-power program has announced a new portal for the application of the 2020 Batch C N-power recruitment set to commence at 11.45pm, June 26th, 2020.

The official N-power portal since 2016 has been www.npower.gov.ng but has this evening been changed to www.npower.fmhds.gov.ng (https://npower.fmhds.gov.ng) which would currently serve as the official application portal for the 2020 N-power recruitment.

The Management, in a press release, issued guidelines to the prospective applicants that would enable them tender application without glitches as follows:

1. Application is only open to applicants aged 18-35. That is, an applicant must be born between 1985 to 2002.

2. Before you go to apply, ensure you have the following:

1. A printout or accurate detail of your Bank Verification Number (BVN)

2. A recent Passport Photograph (1mb) either JPEG or PNG files

3. A valid Contact - Email Address or a working Phone number

4. Your degree Certificate and NYSC Certificate, if you are a graduate and wish to apply for N-Teach or N-Health.

C. Once you get to the application portal, you will be required to read the terms and conditions of the N-power programme and accept that all the information provided is truthful and accurate.

Then you do the following:

1. Input your Valid Contact information (email or Phone number)

2. The information will redirect you to your email address for confirmation.

3. Once your email address has been confirmed, fill your 11 digits BVN and Date of Birth in the following (order dd/mm/yy). Note: If your BVN details are inaccurate, you will not be permitted to go past this interface.

4. Biodata and Contact Page: Fill in your Surname, First Name and Middle Name in identical terms with your BVN information.

5. Education and Programme Page: Kindly indicate if you have received education or not. The N-power programme is open to all.

1. The N-Teach and N-Health sub-programmes are however open to only graduates.

2. (In addition, please note that for N-Power Health, selection preference will be given to holders of Bachelor's Degree, HND, OND in Health Sciences such as Medicine, Microbiology, Nursing, Public Health, Botany, Midwifery, Psychology or other allied Discipline in Sciences)

3. Where applicable, you will be required to upload your Degree Certificate and NYSC Discharge Certificate.    

f.  Employment and other details Page: You will be required to answer questions and upload your Government issued Identity Card. Kindly note that the acceptable Government  IDs are:

1. International Passport

2. National ID Card Issued by NIMC

3. Valid Driver's Licence

4. Permanent Voter's Card

g.   Review and Submit Page:

1. Review all information you have inputted and then submit.

2. Upon submission, you will receive a unique ID Number, write down and keep it safe.

In view of the stated strict measures from the N-power Management team, the prospective applicants are advised to use experienced and highly technical individuals to ensure accurate application as the Management intends to start the initial screening from the Application process.
