An N-power beneficiary, Vivian Ezike, has been granted an interview with Chanenels Television over unpaid stipends of some of the beneficiaries of the N-power program.
Some of the N-power beneficiary have not been paid their 3 months stipends (March, April and May) as a result of the errors recorded on the new payment platform currently hosted on the Federal Government GIFMIS server in a bid to formally institutionalize the program in the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.
Vivian in the interview with Channels TV noted that about 80,000 beneficiaries are yet to be paid their 3 months stipends.
Meanwhile, the Minstry of Humanitarian Affiairs had earlier apologized for the delay in the payment of some of the beneficiaries while requesting the unpaid beneficiaries to send their details through the official email address for the N-power program.
The Ministry had also debunked the rumour that about 80,000 beneficiaries are yet to be paid, with emphasis that only about 12,000 beneficiaries are yet to be paid and they are working very hard to rectify the issues and effect their payments.
