The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umah Farouk was live today in an interactive session with Binta Zurmi on DWTv Hausa.
Responding to several questions from Mrs Binta, the Minister noted that payments for the month of July would be made to the Batch A and B beneficiaries within the week, as well as backlogs for those affected by the transfer of the payment platform to GIFMIS without any query from their PPAs.
The Minister however restated that her Ministry’s stand on the disengagement of batch A and B N-power beneficiaries has not changed.
Meanwhile, the Batch A and B N-power beneficiaries will revisit the National Assembly as requested by the Senate President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Thursday 23rd July, 2020.
