In furtherance to the demand for permanent employment or tangible exit package from the Federal Government by the beneficiaries of the N-power Program, the 36 States Representives, an organised body of the N-power Beneficiaries across the Federation, will today 21st September, 2020 host a world press conference to alert the world on the unfair treatments that had befallen the N-power Beneficiaries in the present days.
Also on the list of demand are unpaid Stipend of one month for about 500,000 beneficiaries and more than 3 months for above 12,000 of the N-power Beneficiaries.
The press conference has attracted the attention of the media such as Channels TV, TVC, AIT, Sahara Reporters and the Punch which would cover the event in the city of Ilorin.
The Cordinator of the 36 State N-power Representives further disclosed that a massive protest would follow up the press conference in few days as the agitation takes a new height, vowing that they can not be detered from protesting until their demands are met unbiased.
The N-power beneficiaries who served for at least 2years in the Education, Health and Agricultural Sectors of the Nigerian Economy, manning the unmanned classrooms, Health Centers, Agricultural Zones, blocks and circles were in June disengaged from the N-power Program without prior notification or exit plan as promised during the disengagement but with unpaid Stipends, denial of Device -a compulsory working tool to more than 310,000 of the 500,000 N-power Beneficiaries, amidst the COVID-19 Pandemic that panicked even the sea birds.

The N-power beneficiaries had in July taken to the streets of Abuja, National Assembly Complex, Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development to press home their demands to the Federal Government but attracted little of promises which have remained shadows and a purport to silence the enthusiasm of endangered youths.
