The Incumbent Governor of Edo State and People's Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Edo State Gubernatorial Election conducted yesterday, Godwin Obaseki has cleared 11 LGAs out of 13 LGAs that have been announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
The closest challenger and the candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu has clinched 2 LGAs.
Meanwhile, results from 6 LGAs are yet to be announced.
In the 13 LGAs results already announnced by INEC, Obaseki has led with 243,604 votes while Ize-Iyamu followed with 154,192.
