The Project Delivery Office of the N75Billion MSME Survival Funds has in an update today disclosed that the 5 South Eastern States are open to welcome more beneficiaries of the Payroll Supports Scheme.
As contained in a clip via the MSME Survival Funds Twitter Handle, Ebonyi State is down at 8,809 employees beneficiaries, Abia at 7,697 Beneficiaries, Enugu at 4,982 Beneficiaries, Anambra at 3,106 Beneficiaries and Imo at 3,456 Beneficiaries.
According to the quota distribution of the beneficiaries across the Federation, each State would close at 13,000 Beneficiaries except for few States.
A recap of the breakdown of Payroll Supports Scheme Beneficiaries so far as released by the PDO according to Geopolitical Zones can be stated as follows:

The PDO had in an update noted that out of the 500,000 Beneficiaries targetted in the Payroll Supports Scheme, over 283,000 employees of MSMEs in Nigeria have so far benefited under the Payroll Supports Scheme.

The Yobe State MSME Survival Funds and Guaranteed Offtake Scheme Focal Person, Abubakar Adamu Fika has in a statement disclosed that the Payroll Supports would continue again for 7 days beginning from today, 19th January, 2021, to enable the lagging State complete their quotas.
Abubakar however noted that there would be no further extention of the timeline for the Payroll Supports after the seven days period.
