However, the Federal Ministry Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development in a clarification update yesterday noted the following to quell further misunderstanding of the selected Beneficiaries.
1. The 1,500 N-creative Beneficiaries are not part of the 2020 Batch C N-Power Program.
2. The N-Creative trainees were preselected in 2019 after they had registered on the portal in the first batch of 2016.
3. N-Power Tech (N-Creative) is a component of the N-Power Programme focused on equipping Nigerians with relevant skills and certification to become competent workers, innovators and entrepreneurs prepared for both the domestic and global digital job market.
4. The training has been conducted for the Southern Zone in 2019 in Benin City, Edo State.
5. The current Training commencing on 15th January, 2021 is for the Northern Zone.
8. The N-Power Creative training programme will upskill the selected 1,500 young Nigerians on the global radar as exporters of world- class services and content in the animations sector.
9. It will develop them in skills and capacities set in the value chain of a digital animation studio in storytelling, illustration, voice acting, 2D and 3D animation and start the talent development effort for the growth of animation industry in Nigeria.
