The Small and Medium Enterprise Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) which has partnered the Bank of Agriculture (BOA) to offer loans to Small and Medium Enterprises in Nigeria through a Scheme called BOA-SMEDAN Matching Fund Programme has announced that more States have been added into the programme.
In an Official announced by SMEDAN, Friday, through their official handles, the Agency stated:
"The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria and the Bank of Agriculture wish to inform the general public that their collaborative matching fund programme is still on going. However, the programme portal is open, and applications are welcome from existing, Micro and MSEs located in Plateau, Kano, Imo and Edo."

A press statement issued by the Corporate Affairs Unit of the Agency in Abuja, had quoted the Director General/Chief Executive Officer of SMEDAN Dr. Dikko Umaru Radda saying that the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) and the Bank of Agriculture (BOA), as partners, have continued their synergy towards boosting the capacity and output of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) across the country with a Matching Fund Programme.
He added that the two agencies are determined to forge ahead with this project in the interest of Nigeria MSMEs.
Initially during the launch of the programme in December, 2020, it was only open to Businesses located in these three States Abuja, Oyo and Kaduna but has been extended to Plateau, Kano, Imo and Edo, and will continue to extend to other States.
