MSME Survival Fund: Fear grips applicants as CAC saga filters in the air

Wide speculation has trailed the sudden halt of the N75 Billion MSME Survival Fund payment which commenced Wednesday after many weeks of recurrent delay and plea by the Project Delivery Office of the Scheme.

Many Nigerians have alleged that the recent delay may be due to thorough verification of the Cerfictates of Business Registration by the Corporate Affairs Commision in which some of the applicants had either manipulated or were defrauded to effect their MSME Survival Fund Application.

The report went further to state that while some applicants purchased fake Certificates of Business Registration generated by Fraudsters from the Corporate Affairs Commision's Website https://www.cac.gov.ng and sold at cheap rates, the Project Delivery Office of the MSME Survival Fund Scheme has taken into cognizance to ensure that an applicant's name must tally with the Business owner's name on the CAC Registration information.

By this proceedure it means that, an applicant of the scheme as a proprietor of a Registered Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise must have an MSME Survival Fund Registration information which must be the same with the CAC Registration information especially the name of the applicant.
