The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development had in an official statement indicated that it had completed its pilot disbursement of loans totaling N165,700,000.00 to 239 beneficiaries of the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) ahead of the processing of the over three million applications so far received. Commencing the second batch of the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund this year, the ministry initiated a massive pre-qualification of thousands of applicants who completed their loan application and were batched for the online Entrepreneurship Development Training prior to the loan Approval and Disbursement.

The Ministry had advised the "prequalified applicants who have not recieved text invitation for the Training to exercise some patience as they would continue to invite more applicants for the training on daily bases", but in batches, after which their loans would be considered for approval.
Selected applicants who are yet to participate in the training were encouraged to visit https://youtu.be/5zY-QXGLWao to learn how to log in and use the e-learning portal https://fmysdenterprisetraining.ng for the Nigeria Youth Investment Fund Scheme Entrepreneurship Development Training.
Note that the candidates are selected from the pre-qualified applicants of the Programme who have successfully completed their loan application through the loan application portal https://nyif.nmfb.com.ng/app and have met the requirements for further participation in the loan approval process.

Applicants who have not been pre-qualified should not panic as Pre-qualification is on going, and Pre-qualified applicants who are yet to complete there loan application, should as quickly as possible complete the stage so as to stand a chance in the next batch of the Training invitation.
The Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) is an initiative of the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development (FMYSD) funded by the Central Bank of Nigeria to invest in youth innovative ideas, skills and talents, transform them into Entrepreneurs and build sustainable businesses that can increase job opportunities in Nigeria.
