N-power: Batch C runs for 12 Months only on N30,000 Monthly Stipend - FMHDS


The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development (FMHDS) has stated the "N-power Batch C will run for 12 Months only" adding that the "N-power Batch C beneficiaries will recieve a N30,000 Monthly Stipend, which will improve beneficiaries' income levels and position them as better economic agents."

This is contained in an N-power awareness Campaign by the Ministry titled "Facts on N-power Batch C Enrolment 2021" promoted by the MMCCGroup Ltd through the page FMHDSMMCCGroup.

Stating the Facts which serve to enlighten the applicants of the programme and the General public, the Humanitarian Affairs Ministry noted that:

"N-power Batch C is structured to on-board 1 million new beneficiaries with an initial 500,000 beneficiaries in the first stream, and a subsequent 500,000 beneficiaries in a second stream."

"N-power Batch C will drive the acquisition of a bouquet of usable skills for each beneficiary with the goal of ensuring that they are economically more active and possess the right vocations skill-set to attract gainful employment after graduation."

"N-power Batch C beneficiaries will recieve a N30,000 Monthly Stipend, which will improve beneficiaries' income levels and position them as better economic agents."

"N-power Batch C will run for 12 Months only."

"N-power Batch C will be deployed to their Places of Primary Assignment (PPA) where they can obtain skills, support government goals and aid National Development."

"The selection process of the beneficiaries will ensure inclusion of people living with disability as well as equitable gender and regional representation."

While the Ministry has intensified efforts to fast-track the engagement of the N-power C beneficiaries, the list of the applicants to be pre-selected for physical screening prior to the full on-boarding, is yet to be released through the portal www.nasims.gov.ng against wide speculation claiming that the list has been released.

The Humanitarian Affairs Ministry has however announced that it has on 11th May, 2021 concluded the online screening test organised for more than 4 million applicants of the Batch C N-power Programme which commenced on 11th March, 2021.
