NCS Recruitment: Customs Headquarter clarifies on released list

The Nigeria Customs Services (NCS) has reacted to misinterpretation given to the supplementary list of candidates shortlisted for the agency's recruitment screening exercise scheduled next month.

Clarifying on the released list, the NCS Public Relations Officer, D.C. Joseph Attah on Friday noted that the released list is a "supplementary list" of names of candidates to be screened by the agency, adding that the list did not contain the list of successful candidates from its previous screening exercise.

Mr Attah furthered that the list of final successful candidates for enlistment into the service will be out after the Secreening of candidates shortlisted in the Supplementary list.

According to the P.R.O, the List of successful candidates recruited by the agency when released, will be a combination of successful candidates from both the earlier secreening exercise and the Supplementary screening exercise.

"Following different interpretations being given to the list of shortlisted candidates for final recruitment screening published today in SUN, D'TRUST AND NATION Newspapers, there is the need to state clearly that today's list is a supplementary list of names of those to be screened and therefore, does not contain the list of successful candidates from the last screening."

"The list of final successful candidates for enlistment into the service will be out after this exercise and will be a combination of successful candidates from both screenings." Attah added.

The NCS Headquarter had scheduled the Secreening of the Supplementary candidates nationwide as follows:

MONDAY 2 AUGUST 2021: All candidates from the following States Abia, Adamawa, Akwa-Ibom, Anambra, Bauchi, Bayelsa, Benue, Borno, Cross-River. Delta, Ebonyi, Delta and Edo.

WEDNESDAY 4 AUGUST 2021: All candidates from the following State Ekiti, Enugu, Gombe, Imo, Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Kogi, Kwara,Lagos and FCT.

FRIDAY6 AUGUST 2021: All candidates from the following State Nassarawa, Niger, Ogun, Ondo, Osun, Oyo, Plateau, Rivers, Sokoto, Taraba, Yobe and Zamfara.
