Npower September and October Stipend Payment

Following the commencement of Stipend Payment to the beneficiaries of the Batch C Npower Programme, the beneficiaries have requested for clarification on wether the payment is for the Month of September or October.

The confusion ensued as a result of the official declaration of October 4th, 2021 as the resumption date for the Batch C Npower Programme.

However, information from the National Social Investment Management System ( NASIMS) has indicated that the Stream 1 beneficiaries of the Batch C Npower Programme would be paid for both Septmeber and October which will amount to N60,000 for each of the Graduate Npower beneficiaries and N20,000 for each of the non-Graduate Npower beneficiaries.

As a result, the ongoing payment to the beneficiaries is the September Stipend while October Payment will begin immediately the completion of the September Payment.

The National Social Investment Management System has today apologised for the delay experienced so far in the payment of the September Stipend to the Npower beneficiaries.

According to the Npower Management, the delay was necessitated by the fact that it is the first payment to the beneficiaries. "This is the first payment and the trial stage. While we take responsibility for late payment of September Stipend, be rest assured the subsequent payment will be a lot more easier and timely," NASIMS clarified.

What happens to the Stipends beneficiaries yet to complete Physical Verification

As a beneficiary of the Batch C Npower Programme who is yet to complete Physical Verification, do not panic. As soon as you are verified, you will also be paid from the Month of September and October as backlogs.

What will happen to the Stipend of Npower beneficiaries with pending Redeployment Status

Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries with pending Redeployment Status should not panic as they will also be paid for the months of September and October as soon as their Redeployment is approved.

The Npower Management has advised Npower beneficiaries yet to verify their Bank accounts to quickly utilise the delay period to verify their Bank accounts and await their Stipends.
