The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has stated that the current delay in the payment of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Stipends is unplanned, clarifying that efforts being put in place would ensure timely payment of subsequent stipends to the beneficiaries.
NASIMS in an official Statement on Sunday disclosed that malfunction of the NASIMS Website due to high traffic during the Npower Batch C Registration, triggered a data lose which has also affected beneficiaries Payment.
"We had before now published series of post where we addressed and enlightened Beneficiaries on the possible cause of the delay in payment of stipends and in other areas, and we deemed it appropriate to restate in details for public enlightenment.
The Npower Management added that "exhibition of negligence and impatience by some Beneficiaries to read and ensure absolute adherence to instruction issued in our posts which resulted to erroneous action is also a contributing factor to the delay"
NASIMS noted that it has intensified efforts to rectify all prevailing issues irrespective of the source, halt it's recurrence in subsequent payments and ensure absolute achievement of the following;
A) That all qualified beneficiaries are paid at once, and not in part.
B) That payments are made timely.
C) That payment are made devoid of irregularities,
The Npower Team further intimated that all outstanding payment is being worked on, adding that collation of account details for rectification of payment issues is still ongoing at the Npower official page.
