The month of January holds a lot of joy for the Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries as the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development goes sleepless in order to clear all outstanding Stipends owed to the 510,000 Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries.
This intention by the Ministry is to return the Npower Stipend Payment Calendar in such a way that January, 2022 Stipend would be paid by the end of January, 2022 or first week of Febuary, 2022.
Right from the out set of the Batch C Npower Programme and the introduction of the NASIMS Portal, the major motive was to ensure among others, timely payment of Stipends to the Batch C Npower beneficiaries.
However, data error from both sides interfered with this good intention. But not to worry, it will be corrected within this Month of January, 2022.
October 2021 Stipend Payment
Payment of October Stipend has continued since Saturday and by now, almost all the beneficiaries have been paid. According to the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS), payment of October Stipend was initiated at once (Simultaneously) for all the Beneficiaries, to be credited by the beneficiaries' financial institutions.
If any beneficiary is yet to recieve his/her October Stipend, it may be due to network glitches from the beneficiary's financial institution. The fact remains that all eligible beneficiaries MUST be paid.
September 2021 Stipend Payment
September Stipend has been paid to many beneficiaries but some are yet to be paid due to "Failed Payment" that resulted from data errors.
The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) on Monday said it has reinitiated the payment of September Stipend to all beneficiaries yet to be paid. So, in few days to come, Alerts will start dropping for such beneficiaries.
November and December 2021 Stipend Payment
Many Npower beneficiaries hissed when November was removed from the Payroll Tab few hours after its activation. NASIMS gave a clear reason for such stating that making the payment of each month separately would reduce the possibility of payment failure.
Payment of November and December Stipends have been approved by the Minister for Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouk, and both Stipends are being processed, NASIMS stated in an Update on Monday.
Both months will reflect on the payroll tab once the other Outstandings have been completely settled.
It will be pertinent to note that the Month of November and December can not be paid as a bulk rather, one by one. So, if November is paid, an intenval of about one week is allowed for the processing and payment of the December Stipend.
The effort by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has become relentless and all outstanding Stipends would be paid within the month of January, 2022, to prevent further backlogs.
