Recall that the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouk while responding to questions raised during a Chatham House Africa Programme in 2021 stated that the Training is a compulsory part of the loan disbursement to the beneficiaries.
The Minister noted that following the collaboration of the Central Bank of Nigeria in the execution of the NEXIT Plan popularly known as NEXIT Loan, the Humanitarian Affairs Ministry is at the point of training the N-power Beneficiaries who have registered and selected skills for the NEXIT Loan Programme.
Farouk however declared October, 2021 as the month for the commencement of the Training, but did not materialize.

The Special Assistant to Sadiya Umar Farouk on Media and Publicity, Nneka Ikem Anibueze in a tweet, Saturday, has declared a new date for the commencement of the NEXIT Loan Training.
According to Mrs Anibueze, "the 1st batch of NEXIT Training will commence in February, 2022."
She added, "kindly dial *45665# on or before Friday 4th February to check your eligibility and indicate your availability to take part in the programme."
Farouk had disclosed that the central idea of the NEXIT Plan is to give Soft Loans to the exited N-power Beneficiaries of which 390,000 out of the 500,000 batch A and B N-power beneficiaries have been successfully accommodated in the NEXIT Loan Programme.
She added that the plan of the Ministry after Training of the exited N-power Beneficiaries is that the beneficiaries will be provided with Starter Packs to enable them start their business after the training, adding that her Ministry will also establish their business modules.
