NASIMS has really changed as percieved but in the first place, it is/was not the plan of the National Social Investment Management System or it's Ministry to owe monthly Stipends to the Npower beneficiaries.
It is actually in the best interest of the Humanitarian Affairs Ministry to ensure that Monthly Stipends are paid to the Batch C Npower beneficiaries without any form of delay, and that was why NASIMS was established.
During the launch of NASIMS in March 2021, the Minister, Sadiya Umar Farouk promised timely payment of monthly Stipends to the Batch C Npower beneficiaries as one of the key intents of establishing NASIMS, in addition to seamless data management.
Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme being the first in the new NASIMS Platform may have suffered delays in the payment of their monthly Stipends obviously because in every new system, there are expected errors, system failures or delays which will be completely sorted out with time.
It is a fight being won. The Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries didn't believe March Stipend would land into their Bank accounts within a shortest time as promised by NASIMS during the announcement of the March Stipend Payment commencement.
Now that March Stipend has been paid, expect April 2022 Stipend Payment very very soon.
The National Social Investment Management System NASIMS has demonstrated their resolve in ensuring that all outstanding Stipends such as March and April, FAILED Payments, etc are completely paid to the beneficiaries without further delay.
Asides the payment of March Stipend, some sorted FAILED Payment of the previous months were also paid. According to NASIMS, "THOSE WHOSE ISSUES HAVE BEEN RESOLVED ARE BEING PAID OUT GRADUALLY. You'll be paid as soon as the issue that resulted in the delay/fail in payment of your stipend is resolved."
The essence of these tremendous efforts is to pave way for welcoming the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries into the 1 year Batch C Npower Programme.
The Ministry on Saturday announced the official commencement of Batch C Stream 2 Npower Programme and in the coming days, Physical Verification would be announced - to be followed immediately by Deployment of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries to Places of Primary Assignment (PPA).
These processes for the engagement of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries have been well calculated as such that the exit of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries in August 2022 will be the welcoming of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries into the Batch C Npower Programme.
So what's NEXIT for Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries after August 2022?
Considering the 1 year design of the Batch C Npower Programme by the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries would recieve their last Stipend payment in August 2022, which would mark the termination of the one year Npower Programme and possible transition to NEXIT (NEXIT loan) Programme.
"The NASIMS platform will also facilitate seamless beneficiary verification, including an efficient transition & exit management plan that will enable beneficiaries to be migrated automatically to the NEXIT Program for POSSIBLE placement & employment opportunities with FG agencies", Farouk stated during the Launch of NASIMS in March 2021.

NEXIT (N-EXIT) popularly known as NEXIT Loan Programme is an Exit or Transition Plan which is meant to train and grant soft Loans to Npower beneficiaries after completing their duration in the Npower Programme, according to the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development.
It is organised by the Ministry in collaboration with the Central Bank of Nigeria, to offer Loan amounts between N250,000 - N3million as obtainable in the CBN Intervention Programmes specifically AGSMEIS Loan.
CBN/NEXIT AGSMEIS Loan has started with the exited Batch A and B beneficiaries of the Npower programme, and will progress to the Batch C Npower beneficiaries as indicated by the Ministry.
