The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has announced the official commencement of Npower Batch C Stream 2 Shortlisting.
Recall that the Npower Batch C was programme to accommodate 1million youths which began with the onboarding of 510,000 beneficiaries in August 2021 as Npower Batch C stream 1, and currently has commenced the proceses for onboarding the remaining 490,000 beneficiaries as Npower Batch C Stream 2.
Announcing the Npower Batch C Stream 2 Shortlisting, the Ministry through its verified Npower Facebook Page on Saturday advised applicants of the Batch C Npower Programme to visit www.nasims.gov.ng or dial *45665# to know their 'application status'.
The Ministry encouraged shortlisted applicants to proceed to a suitable Cyber Cafe especially those used for JAMB/WAEC Registration for their Biometrics data capture.
Important things to know about Npower Batch C Stream 2 Shortlisting and Biometrics Enrolment
1. In February 2022, a set of Npower applicants were shortlisted as Npower Batch C Stream 2 as announced by NASIMS.
However, a mix-up ensued after the Shortlisting, describing it as Npower Batch C Sream 1 Supplementary Shortlisting.
This set of shortlisted Npower beneficiaries may have successfully completed their Biometric enrollment, waiting for Physical Verification and Deployment.
If you are among this set of shortlisted Npower beneficiaries, kindly log into your Profile at www.nasims.gov.ng to ensure your Biometric Enrolment was successful.
If successful, kindly leave it like that. If unsuccessful, proceed to capture your Boimetric Data as advised. Note that Physical Verification and Deployment will follow only after the Biometrics Enrolment has been concluded, at dates to be announced by the Ministry.
There is no released or published list anywhere called Npower Batch C Stream 2 List. Do not be decieved!
To know if your shortlisted, log into your Profile a www.nasims.gov.ng, click on the 'Verification' Tab to know if you have been shortlisted. Keep checking back if not yet shortlisted.
Alternatively, an applicant can just Dial *45665# with any Phone, preferably with MTN SIM, select Npower, Select Checking of Status, Enter BVN or Npower Registered Phone Number, Confirm deduction of N30, and wait for display of application status.
How to do Npower Batch C Biometric Enrolment
1. Do not use your Smart Phone to do Biometric Capturing
2. Again, do not use your Smart Phone to do Biometric Capturing
3. Go to a Cyber Cafe. Not Just any Cyber but those used for WAEC/NECO, JAMB or NYSC Registration which you are sure has a Finger Print Capturing Machine.
4. Ensure the Cyber Cafe has downloaded and installed the Npower Biometric Enrollment Application in their Computer.
5. Login to your dashboard and click the "verification" tab.
6. lick the “capture your fingerprint” button, provide the required credentials and click "Proceed".
7. Make sure the fingerprint biometric device is connected, then click on "Begin Enrollment" to launch the enrolment process.
8. Click on the finger to begin the enrolment process.
9. Applicants are to enroll their Right thumb, Right index, Left thumb and Left index fingers only for successful enrolment.
10. Read No 9 again.
11. After successful enrollment, click on “Submit” to save the biometric enrollment.
12. After successful enrollment, please check the "verification" tab of your self service portal to confirm if the capture was successful.
13. Read number 12 again.
14. If successful, the "Capture Fingerprint" will change to "Fingerprint Captured".
