The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development is set to commence Physical Verification of the shortlisted applicants of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower Programme.
This is contained in a Circular titled "COMMENCEMENT OF N-POWER BATCH C STREAM 2 PHYSICAL VERIFICATION", an intimation by the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) for their partication in the Npower Batch C Stream 2 Physical Verification exercise, dated 31st May 2022.
The Npower Batch C Stream 2 Physical Verification exercise has been scheduled to commence on Monday 13th June, 2022 and ends on Friday 24th June, 2022.
As contained in the internal intimation, the State Cordinators have been requested to get the ICT Unit ready for the Npower Batch C Stream 2 Physical Verification exercise.
The Circular reads:
"COMMENCEMENT OF N-POWER BATCH C STREAM 2 PHYSICAL VERIFICATION
"The Directorate Headquarters is in receipt of a letter from the Presidency through the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Developmernt expressing apreciation and commendation to the National Youth Service Corps over Its collaboration with the Ministry which led to successtul onboarding of Five Hundred and Ten Thousand (510,000) N-Power beneficiaries in 2021.
"It would please you to note that Mr. President has evałuated our partrership with the Ministry and expressed satisfaction with the conduct of our Local Governmen Inspectors under the supervision of the State Coordinators, 1CT Officers and Zonal Inspectors, and having passed the integrity test, the Ministry has again, set necesary machineries in motion for physical verification of another Batch starting from Monday, 13th to Friday, 24 June, 2022.
"While we are not unmindful of orientation course engagement during the period, the NYSC can not be seen to be an unwilling tool in executing Government policies especially one emanating from Mr. President himseif and has direct impact on the lives of the vulnerable Nigerians.
"In the light of the foregoing and in view of the high premium placed on this exercise, State Coordinators are hereby requested to direct the 1CT Units to get the systems ready as used in the last exercise........"

In preparation for the Npower Batch C Stream 2 Physical Verification, the Ministry had concluded Biometric Data Capturing of the shortlisted applicants on 27th May, 2022.
In due time before the Npower Batch C Stream 2 Physical Verification date, the Full List of Shortlisted Applicants of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower Programme would be sent to the State Focal Persons and would be pasted in every Local Government Headquarter for public view.

The Npower Batch C Stream 2 Physical Verification will mark the second crucial process in the onboarding of the 490,000 Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries whereby all documents including educational Certificates submitted during application by the applicants, are critically verified for authenticity.
As a norm in the Npower Programme, Shortlisting/Pre-selection of applicants is not a guarantee for final selection. As such, a shortlisted applicant of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower Programme should have participated and passed these processes before final selection and deployment to Places of Primary Assignment.
