The Deployment of 490,000 successful beneficiaries of Batch C Stream 2 Npower Programme is currently ongoing.
The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development through the Minister's SA on Media and Publicity, Nneka Ikem Anibueze, disclosed the ongoing process on Saturday, stating that the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme ends in this August, 2022.
"Batch C Npower beneficiaries were divided into two streams, C1 and C2. Batch C1 was deployed in September 2021 and are due to exit the programme this August 2022 after spending 12 months in the programme.
"The payment system is transparent and verifiable using the FECs approved NASIMS platform where each beneficiary sees on the platform, reasons for payment and for non-payment owing to truancy or transaction failure.
"The batch C2 pre-selected applicants have concluded their physical verification exercise using one of our strategic partners (NYSC).
"The deployment process commenced on the 1st of August for 490,000 beneficiaries to fill the space of one million N-POWER beneficiaries as approved by Mr President," stated Mrs Anibueze.
The ministry added that the Deployment of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries is conducted by the State Focal Persons in other to ensure that the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries are posted to PPAs closer to them.
"Deployment is handled by the State Focal Persons to ensure that beneficiaries are deployed to PPAs closer to them.
"All the 36 States and FCT have all received the batch deployment schedule that commenced on 1st August, 2022. This can be verified independently," Mrs Anibueze noted.
According to the Ministry, the Deployment of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries is done manually and in Batches.
All beneficiaries deployed in a particular Batch will be contacted, and by the successful deployment, the beneficiary can proceed to the NASIMS Portal www.nasims.gov.ng to view the Deployment details and download the Deployment Letters.
The Ministry encourage the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries to remain patient, as all the Beneficiaries in the 36 States plus FCT will be deployed.
In a recent development, there has been circulation of "claimed" Focal Persons' Contacts online with claims that the Beneficiaries should be calling the Phone Numbers for their Deployment.
As a matter of fact, the contacts being circulated are inaccurate, and there is no need to start calling a number gotten online when beneficiaries can be genuinely contacted when deployed.
The Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries are warned to beware of Scammers who may be resharing such contact information to lure them into grave dangers.
The Beneficiaries are however advised to keep checking the NASIMS Portal from time to time, to ascertain if the beneficiary has been deployed.
