Tension has heightened among the beneficiaries of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower Programme following a sudden deployment of the beneficiaries which has generated mixed interpretation by the handlers of the Npower programme.
Some beneficiaries of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower Programme who visited their NASIMS Portal via www.nasims.gov.ng on Wednesday confirmed they had been deployed to their Places of Primary Assignment (PPA) but were unable to download their Deployment letter through thesame portal.
The deployment also resulted in mixed reactions especially among the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries who were unable to see their Deployment when they visited their Profiles on the NASIM's portal, and sudden disappearance of the PPAs on the portal soon after the process began.
Responding to series of enquiries on the various issues, the management of the Npower Programme through it's official Twitter handle assured that the Deployment process would commence in full within a short moment, while encouraging the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries to exercise some patience.
Few moments after the Npower management's response, the Deployment of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries reappeared on the NASIMS Portal but the beneficiaries were still unable to download their Deployment letters.
Restiveness ensued on Friday following a response on the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries Deployement by the handlers of the NASIMs portal when contacted.
NASIMS described the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries' deployement as "an error" encouraging the beneficiaries to ignore the posting on their dashboards.
The Npower Management noted that Deployment of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries has not commenced, adding that the deployment of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries would commence as at when due. (No date)
Meanwhile, since on Tuesday when the sudden deployment commenced, the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has not issued any official statement on the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries' deployement via any of its official Handles.
In view of the above and to quell further confusion, the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries have called on the Npower management to address the situation so as to douse the restive state of the beneficiaries tensed by anticipation, and quest to start benefiting from the Npower programme without further delay.
