The Payment of June Stipend has been going on smoothly in the past two days. The June Stipend Payment to the Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries is currently ongoing. If an Npower Batch C Stream 1 beneficiary hasn't recieved the June Stipend, the beneficiary should check the NASIMS Profile at www.nasims.gov.ng to find out if it failed.
After the completion of the June Stipend Payment, July Stipend will be initiated. But before then, Failed Payments will be re-initiated.
The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, responding to beneficiaries' enquiries on the Official Npower Facebook handle, on Tuesday, assured that all Failed Payments which were recently initiated but FAILED again, will be re-initiated.
According the Ministry, all Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries with any payment issue will be paid completely.
Speaking on the Extention of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme, the Ministry said that its position on the exit of the Batch C Stream 1 Exit date on 31st August, 2022 is still being maintained.
The ministry however noted that if there is a need for the Extention of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme, it will be officially communicated to the Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries before 31st August, 2022.
On the Deployment of the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries, the Ministry stated that the main reason why it is collaborating with the State Focal Persons in the Deployment of the beneficiaries is to ensure that the Npower beneficiaries are deployed to PPAs closer to them.
In the design of the Npower programme as an Empowerment and skill acquisition programme, the beneficiary are not deployed to Places of Primary Assignments far from their Places of Residence.
This is to ensure that the beneficiaries do not spend much of their monthly Stipends on transportation.
There has been Phone Numbers purported as State Focal Persons' Phone Numbers being circulated online, with the assertion that the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries should begin calling the Phone Numbers for Deployment.
The Phone Numbers are inaccurate. The beneficiaries should desist from calling such numbers to avoid being defrauded by scammers lurking around in such pretence.
According to the Ministry, the Deployment is done in Batches and all beneficiaries deployed in a particular Batch are notified by the Focal Person.
The beneficiaries upon notification can then proceed to www.nasims.gov.ng to view the Deployment details and download the Deployment Letters.
The Ministry assured that even though the Deployment is done in Batches, all the Beneficiaries will be deployed on or before School Resumption.
The ministry encouraged the Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries to remain patient while the Deployment is conducted.
