The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has commenced payment of July Stipend to the beneficiaries of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme.
NASIMS announcing the initiation of the July Stipend Payment on Friday, thanked the Npower beneficiaries for their patience, stating that the Bank Account of the beneficiaries will soon be credited.
Many of the Batch C Npower Stream 1 Npower who checked their NASIMS Profiles through www.nasims.gov.ng have confirmed that the Batch C Stream 1 July Stipend is current Pending on their Profiles.
Expectedly, before the end of next week, the Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries would have recieved their July Stipends, and waiting for the August and final Stipend payment to the Batch C Stream Npower Programme.
In a recent development, the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has announced that a bill seeking for continuity and sustainability of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) has been approved by the Federal Executive Council.
According to the Minister, Sadiya Umar Farouk, the Bill seeks to establish the National Social Investment Programme Agency for the management and implementation of the National Social Investment Prorgrammes.
When the bill in signed into Law, it will pave way for other batches of the Npower programme such as Npower Batch D, E, F, G, H etc.
The ministry through the Minister's SA on Media and Publicity, Nneka Ikem Anibueze, had on Saturday 13th August, 2022, announced that the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme ended in August, 2022 while the 490,000 Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries are currently being deployed.
