The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has announced that the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme has officially ended.
The ministry made this known while responding to an enquiry by the beneficiaries via the verified Npower Facebook Handle.
"According to the Programme's Time Table, Batch C1 has successfully completed its programme", the Npower management stated.
The response aligns with an official statement made by the ministry's SA on Media and Publicity, Mrs Nneka Ikem Anibueze, in August, declaring that the Batch C Stream 1 Npower beneficiaries exit by the end of August 2022, having completed the one year duration of the programme.
"Batch C Npower beneficiaries were divided into two streams, C1 and C2. Batch C1 was deployed in September 2021 and are due to exit the programme this August 2022 after spending 12 months in the programme," Mrs Anibueze stated.
The information above authenticates a publication made by Myinfoclock Daily Info Update tittled Npower Batch C1 Extension news: Beware of False Information, and Npower Batch C1 Extention and Npower Batch A and B NEXIT Loan.
The ministry's stand quells the rumour of Extention of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme peddled by carriers of fake news whose only intent is to click-bait the beneficiaries on false hope.
According to the Ministry, the key priority now is to pay the August Stipend to Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries, clear any other outstanding Stipends owed to the beneficiaries and usher in the 490,000 Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries.
