The report came true when many beneficiaries of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme who checked their Payment profiles through www.nasims.gov.ng confirmed that the August Stipend has been initiated and currently "pending" on their profiles.
NASIMS having initiated the August Stipend payment to the Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries, will be followed by crediting of the beneficiaries Bank Accounts which is expected to happen before Thursday, within the week.
The August Stipend is as a matter of fact the last Stipend to the Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries who have completed their 12 Months in the Batch C Npower Programme.
According to the design of the Batch C Npower Programme, the Npower Batch C1 and Npower Batch C2 were to spend only 1 year, respectively, in the Npower Programme.
The Npower Batch C1 Stipend Payment was first paid in September 2021, while the payment for August 2022 marks the 12th month payment to the beneficiaries.
The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has clarified that by the design of the Batch C Npower Programme, the Batch C1 Npower Programme has officially ended by the end of August 2022, adding that there hasn't been any communicated intention to extend the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme.

The Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries have commenced their 1year in the Npower Programme, and will recieve their first Stipend in September, 2022.
Expectely, the Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries will exit the Batch C Npower Programme by July, 2023 unless otherwise stated.
