Breaking: Npower Batch C1 officially ends, Ministry sets condition for last Stipend Payment

The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has announced the official end of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme.

Recall that the Minister's SA on Media and Publicity, Mrs Nneka Ikem Anibueze had at the of August 2022 stated that the Batch C1 Npower Programme ends in August 31st as it completes its 1 year duration.

This however was greeted by mixed reactions among the beneficiaries, elevated by media misinformation claiming that the Batch C1 Npower Programme has been extended to six months.

Myinfoclock Daily Info Update had in several publications clarified the Ministry's stand on the rumours, noting that there has been no Extention of the Batch C Stream 1 Npower Programme.

The Ministry through the National Social Investment Management Systems (NASIMS) Portal has, today, announced end of the Batch C1 Npower Programme, stating a condition which the 510,000 beneficiaries must meet before receiving their August and last Stipend.

According to the Ministry, the Batch C1 Npower Beneficiaries are to log on to www.nasims.gov.ng to take a Work Nation Eligibility Test designed to make more opportunities accessible to them, as a criterion for recieving the August Stipend.

The Ministry however noted that success or failure of the test does not affect the August Stipend Payment but remains a compulsory condition which must be met by the beneficiaries. 

"To all Batch C1 Beneficiarles, Congratulations to you on re aching the concluding month of the programe, which you were selected for as a beneficiary.

"Kindly take the Work Nation eligibility test, as it is a conditional requirement for your August stipend to be paid to you.

"Work Nation is designed to make more opportunities accessible to you.The success or failure of the test do not affect you payments.

"Click the button below to redirect you to your test page and complete your passing out process", the Ministry stated.
