The disengaged beneficiaries of the Batch A and B Npower Programme have continued their protest in order to register their grievances against the federal government over its failed promises.
In a report captured in Vanguard, Saturday, the disengaged Npower beneficiaries said the protest which began on Thursday, will last till 31st October, 2022.
The National President of the NPower disengaged beneficiaries, Comrade Bashir Usman Gobir who spoke to Vanguard in Bauchi lamented that the minister launched a code that costs N30 which was meant for securing a loan but all to no avail.
According to Gobir, the Minister launched the USSD Code *45665# which costed N30 per each trial, which she used to amass millions of Naira from the already frfrustrated beneficiaries, as some of the 500,000 disengaged Npower beneficiaries dialled the code up to 15 times in order to register for the NEXIT Loan Training.

The NEXIT Loan Trianing has come and gone for the first batch of the NEXIT Loan Training, yet no disbursement of the NEXIT Loan nor further training of the remaining batches of the exited Npower beneficiaries, Gobir emphasized.
Gobir called on President Buhari to intervene, stating that some of the disengage beneficiaries are dead due to frustration.
He vowed that the Protest would continue until the Federal Government comes to their rescue.
"We are embarking on national protest starting from Thursday 20th October 2022 in Bauchi State over the Minister, Sadiya Farouq’s failure to fulfil numerous promises made to us and we had vowed to continue the protest till Monday, 31, October 2022.
"We are appealing to President Buhari and his APC-led government to intervene on their issue.
"Many beneficiaries are dead after going through a lot of frustration and high expectation. We would continue with the protest until Federal Government comes to our rescue," Gobir stated.
