The Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management Social Development had introduced the Work Nation Programme for the Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries who recently completed their one year duration in the Npower Programme.
Describing the Npower Work Nation Programme as a Transition Plan for the Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries, the ministry explained that qualified Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries will be trained and retrained, and connected to opportunities across the globe which include Job Placement and access to business loans.
The Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries who are currently writing the Work Nation Test, reacting through their social groups, expressed pessimism stating that Npower Work Nation may be another NEXIT Loan Programme.

According to the Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries, NEXIT Loan was introduced to the Batch A and B Npower beneficiaries as a Transition Plan to enable the beneficiaries access loan between N300,000 to N3,000,000, which has become a mirage since 2020.
The Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries noted that upon the NEXIT Loan Training that was organised for the Batch A and B Npower beneficiaries early this year, the loan has not been disbursed to any of the beneficiaries.

"It beats every sensible mind to think that the ministry would engage the Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries without engaging the Batch A and B Npower beneficiaries. It may be a way to douse tension, keep us in line as electioneering tools come 2023, the Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries alleged.
