The Chairman of the Commision, Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra, had on Friday, after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, announced that 2023 Population and Housing Census "enumeration of persons" will hold from 29th March to 2nd April 2023.
Hon Kwarra's declaration is in accordance with the Revised Census Calender for the 2023 Census Exercise earlier released by the Commision.

The NPC responding to an enquiry, on Saturday, noted that the Shortlisting of Enumerators and Supervisors Categories is yet to commence.
Recall that the NPC had announced that Shortlisting of Enumerators and Supervisors will take a period of 16days, from 16th January, 2023 to 31st January, 2023, which is also contained in the Revised Census Calender for the 2023 Census Exercise.
Going by the Commision's Schedule, the NPC Adhoc Staff Enumerator and Supervisor Applicants should expect their Shortlisting massively between Monday 23rd January 2023 and Tuesday 31st January 2023.

NPC Adhoc Staff Applicants can quickly check their Application Status with their Smart Phones through the NPC Adhoc Staff Application Status Checker http://2023censusadhocrecruitment.nationalpopulation.gov.ng.
An Email and Text Message will be sent to each shortlisted Applicants. This Email and Text Message will contain the NPC's directives on how to participate in the E-Learning through the Self Learning Google Class Platform.
Enumerators and Supervisors should note that Self Learning would last for only 6days, from 23rd January, 2023 to 28th January, 2023. This date may be adjusted to accommodate shortfalls in the Schedule.
An NPC final Exam will also be taken by the Enumerators and Supervisors for final selection of Candidates who would participate in the conduct of the 2023 Census Exercise. This will contain 1-30 Questions.
