The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has assured that Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries will be paid their Stipends in full.
Responding to the beneficiaries expressions of frustration, the Ministry via the official "Npower" Social Handle on Monday noted that it's aware of the situation being faced by the Batch C2 beneficiaries.
The Npower Management called for more patience among the beneficiaries, assuring that all Stipends owed to the Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries would be paid completely.
The Batch C2 Npower Programme which commenced on 4th October, 2022 has been a mirage to the beneficiaries, as the beneficiaries' Stipends have remained unpaid, 3 months into programme.
The Beneficiaries who expressed their moods in their social handles, decried being unpaid even during the Yuletide, which left them broke as the unemployed youths relied on the programme to make ends meet.
Ministry prepares for Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries' Stipend Payment
The Ministry has commenced processes for the payment of the Batch C2 3 months Stipends.
Among the core issues which had impeded the Batch C2 Stipend Payment are Deployment of remaining Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries to their PPAs and Batch C1 August Stipend Outstanding.
To ensure that the Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries are paid without further delay, the Ministry has commenced deployment of the remaining beneficiaries in States such as Akwaibom, Ogun, Osun and Lagos.
The Ministry disclosed it's preparedness to initiate all outstanding Batch C1 Stipends, in no distant time - a process which would free the Government Integrated Financial Management Information System Server (GIFMIS Payment Platform) solely for the Batch C2 beneficiaries.
In the comming weeks, it's hopeful that Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries would recieve their Stipends, the Ministry assured.
