The beneficiaries emphasised that should there be any reason for delay in the payment of the beneficiaries, a Facebook Live Video was usually done by Afolabi, explaining reasons for the delay while specifying when the beneficiaries would expect their Stipends.
Describing the impact of constant communication in the Programme, the beneficiaries stated that lack of prompt communication has reduced the value of the programme under the present leadership.
"As it stands, no one knows when the payment of the Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries would commence. We don't even know if the Programme has been terminated. For three months, none of the Batch C2 beneficiaries has been paid. We expected our Payment before 25th December, 2022 but till date no beneficiary has been paid!", Isa Abubakar, a batch C2 Npower beneficiary who lent his voice exclaimed in anger.
Abubakar noted that the beneficiaries were told to resume work on 4th October, 2022. "We spent our money going to our PPA hoping that we would be paid, but till date, no one has been paid", he added.
The beneficiaries wished that the Npower programme continued in the Office of the Vice President other than its present state.
