The Independent National Electoral Commission, in full preparation for the 2023 General Election, has commenced invitation of INEC Adhoc Staff Applicants for a compulsory Training.
Recall that INEC has scheduled to conduct the INEC Adhoc Staff Training using the Time Table below:
(i) Presiding Officers/Assistant Presiding Officers (PO/APO) - 14th February 2023 to 16th Fabruary 2023 - 3dyas
(ii). Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPO) - 11th Febraury 2023 to 12th February 2023 - 2days
(iii) Collation Officers (CO) - 21st February to 22rd February - 2days

The INEC Adhoc Staff Applicants, who participated in the last INEC Adhoc Staff Screening exercise, are by this information advised to keep checking their Phones for INEC Adhoc Staff Training Invitation.
The INEC Adhoc Staff Training will equip the Adhoc Staff Applicants with knowledge requisite for the conduct of the 2023 General Election, as well as equipment set up, handling and result/report writing.
During the INEC Adhoc Staff Training, understanding of the election concepts will be assessed through vigorous Test/Quiz and Practicals which will be monitored by the INEC Officials, after which best candidates will be selected for the election.
Final List of INEC Adhoc Staff who would participate in the conduct of the 2023 General Election would be released to the view of the Public, across the 774 LGAs of the Federation, between 17th February to 23rd February 2023, just few days after the INEC Adhoc Staff Training.
INEC has in its Timetable and Schedule of Activities for the 2023 General Election announced that the Presidential, National Assembly (Senate and House Representatives); Governorship and State House of Assembly Elections would be held according to the following Dates:
1. Presidential and National Assembly Election - 25th February, 2023
2. Governorship and State Houses of Assembly - 11th March 2023
