Also, disregard the news making round which claims that the Minister in statement stated that all Stipends have been paid completely and no beneficiary is being owed. That news was in 2021 during the exit of Batch A and B Npower beneficiaries. It has nothing to do with Batch C1 and C2 Npower beneficiaries.
Do not assume because the New Government has not appointed Ministers, all Ministries will continue to wait till 2 to 3 Months before the President appoints Ministers. It's just like assuming that no Ministry will pay Salaries till new Ministers have been appointed.
The essence of handing over to Permanent Secretaries is because they are most Senior Civil Servants who can run the affairs of Ministries in the presence or absence of serving Ministers. Even though both Ministers and Permanent Secretaries are based on appointments, Permanent Secretaries are Senior Civil Servants in a Ministry while Ministers are exclusively political Appointees.
As for Npower beneficiaries Outstanding Stipends, it has been approved and authorised by the Buhari Adminstration. It can only be stopped if President Tinubu orders a stop on the payment.
