Latest Npower Stipend News Today 19th June 2023

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has disclosed when the next round of Npower Batch C1 and C2 Outstanding Stipends Payment would commence.

NASIMS addressing beneficiaries via the Npower official Facebook Handle on Sunday stated that next round of Outstanding Stipent payment to Batch C1 and C2 Npower beneficiaries would begin between this week and next week.

The Npower Management noted that the technical team in charge of Stipend payment are working tirelessly to ensure that payment of Outstanding Stipend begins before the end of June, 2023.

NASIMS encouraged Npower beneficiaries yet to validate their information through the Npower Validation Link, validation.nasims.ng, to do so before payment is started.

Recall that the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS) has last week pre-selected and engaged over 200,000 new Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries, as it proceeds to update the Npower Batch C2 database in order to commence unified payment of the beneficiaries.

Speaking on the recent development, a source within the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, who preferred anonymity, confirmed that the newly pre-selected beneficiaries were to augment the number of required beneficiaries in the Batch C2 Npower Programme.

The Batch C2 Npower programme was planned to engage 490,000 beneficiaries, however, the said number was not met during the initial selection of the Batch C2 beneficiaries.

The source clarified that the newly pre-selected beneficiaries were selected from Npower Batch C Applicants who applied through the NASIMS Portal https://nasims.gov.ng in 2020.

NASIMS called on the beneficiaries who are yet to validate their information, especially the new Batch C2 beneficiaries, to confirm their status and validate their information using the Npower validation portal link validation.nasims.ng, so as to be included in the next phase of Stipend payment before the end of June, 2023.

Myinfoclock Daily Info Update had in a previous post highlighted the position of NASIMS on the payment of Outstanding Stipends to Batch C1 and C2 Npower beneficiaries.

According to NASIMS, there is no December Stipend for Batch C1 beneficiaries. The only Stipend for Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries are September, October and November Stipends which were approved by the Minister as act of benevolence. This is because Npower Batch C1 has ended in August, 2022 and there is no extention of the programme.

While the Batch C2 yet-to-be-paid beneficiaries will be paid October, November and December 2022 Outstanding Stipends before June ends, their January, February, March, April and May 2023 Stipends will commence next month, after all the outstanding Stipends must have been paid.
