In a recent report from the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS), the body In charge of the Npower Programme in the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, the required number of Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries has been met.

NASIMS made the disclosure while addressing the beneficiaries on Tuesday via its verified Social Media Handle.

The Batch C2 Npower programme was designed to accommodate 490,000 Npower beneficiaries. However, until June 2023, the Batch C2 did not meet the required number of beneficiaries.

This prompted the recent selection of over 200,000 new Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries.

While Text Messages and Emails were sent to the newly selected Npower beneficiaries to verify their Status and validate their Account Information, many "Npower Applicant" however began to fill the Npower Validation Form without receiving text Messages or Emails.

This has worsened the delay in Payment of Stipends to Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries as efforts are nowvgeared towards sorting the genuine beneficiaries from Npower Applicants who had filled the Npower Validation Form without notification.

Npower Applicants who did not get the text message or mail to validate information should by this notice, desist from filling the Npower Validation Form as it will continue to delay the payment of Stipends to Batch C2 Npower Beneficiaries.

The newly shortlisted Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries who "received text messages" and had validated their Account information should ignore the e-mail they might have received recently as both are the same, and there no chance for double validation.

While payment of Outstanding Stipends of October, November and December to Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries continues, payments are being sorted and made in batch to make sure only genuine beneficiaries recieved Stipends.
