The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS), the body in the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development in charge of the Federal Government Npower Programme, has commenced massive payment of Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries long-awaited Stipends.
The cycle of Stipends Payment which commenced on Tuesday is the first after NASIMS migrated to its new Self Service Portal (SSP) ssp.nasims.gov.ng.
Speaking on the need for the new SSP Portal, NASIMS noted that the fully-fledged Self Service Portal was developed to facilitate streamlined management of the four facets of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP), with its new enhanced features, ensuring that the beneficiaries navigate the portal and recieve all essential services, including Stipend payment at ease.
The SPP Portal ensures that Npower beneficiaries Stipends Payment is triggered at the same time while record of payment and payment status such as "processing" "completed" or "failed payments" can be displayed in real-time in each of the beneficiary's NASIMS SSP Profile.
The ongoing cycle of Outstanding Stipends Payment for the months of October, November and December 2022 is also being made to the newly shortlisted Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries, especially those who completed validation in June and early July, 2023.
Also, the beneficiaries are advised to monitor the Status of their Stipend Payment in the new Self Service Portal to know which month has been completely paid, processing, or failed in order to minimize tension, and ensure that complaints are made appropriately through the NASIMS SSP Portal or verified Npower Social Media Handles.
