This in line with NASIMS efforts to clear all outstanding Stipends, which would pave way for the payment of January to July 2023 Stipends to the beneficiaries.
Recall that the current Stipend Payment which has continued today commenced on 1st August, 2023 following the complete transition to the new NASIMS Self Service Portal.
As at today, joy and praises have filled the air as many beneficiaries confirm to have recieved two months outstanding/backlogs Stipends of N60,000 while some reported to have recieved 3 months Stipends of N90,000.
The newly shortlisted 200,000 Batch C Stream 2 Npower beneficiaries that were engaged in June 2023, and have validated their Bank Account Details also confirmed to have recieved 2-3 months outstanding/backlog Stipends.
For the purpose of clarity, the recent and ongoing payment of Outstanding/Backlog Stipends is real. Only October, November and December 2022 Stipends are being paid to Batch C2 Npower beneficiaries who are yet to be paid.
The essence of clearing the 3 months outstanding/backlog Stipends is to bring all the beneficiaries on the same payment level, so that when the payment of January to July 2023 Stipends commence, the payment can be triggered for all beneficiaries, at these time, through the new NASIMS SSP Portal.
It is expected that October to December 2022 outstanding/backlog Stipends Payment will be completed by the end of August, 2023. Payment of January, February, March, April, May, June and July Stipends will begin in September, 2023.
Do not panic. NASIMS has assured that all outstanding/backlog Stipends owed to the beneficiaries will be cleared before they exit the programme.
As at now, there is no payment for Batch C1 Npower beneficiaries. Npower Batch C1 benevolence package Stipend Payment will continue after the Batch C2 October to December Stipends might have been concluded.
