FG continues disbursement of Federal Government Palliative Grant | Download List of Beneficiaries here

The Federal Government has continued the disbursement of funds under the Presidential Conditional Grant Scheme (PCGS) as part of it's measures to cushion the effect of the fuel subsidy removal on Nano businesses in the country.

The Federal Government Palliative Grant is a N75b Programme whereby eligible Nano-businesses receive a one-time grant of N50,000 to assist them in their businesses.

The Federal Government Palliative Grant sum is N50,000.00 (Fifty Thousand Naira) per beneficiary, and it is designed to reach one million nano businesses in the 774 local government areas of the country.

As at yesterday, many applicants of the grant scheme, especially applicants who recently verified their BVN, confirmed to have recieved credit alerts in their respective bank accounts as the fund disbursement continued.

Did you apply for the Federal Government Palliative Grant or Federal Government Palliative Loan, it's official that disbursement is on going but as at now, only beneficiaries of the the President Conditional Grant are being credited.

The Target beneficiaries of the Federal Government Palliative Grant are 70% women and youth, 10% people with disabilities, and 5% senior citizens, while the remaining 15% is distributed to other demographics.

Earlier before the continuation of the disbursement, the Federal Government Palliative Grant application portal https://grant.fedgrantandloan.gov.ng that was earlier closed was reopened to welcome more applications.

As at this moment, the application portal has been closed again. However, if you had successfully applied for the grant, expect a credit alert any moment till the end of the month.

Application for Federal Government Palliative Loan is on going. As a business owner, if you missed the grant application, applying for the Federal Government Palliative loan won't be a bad idea.

ii. Federal Government Palliative Loan Interest Rate 

The Federal Government Palliative Loan Interest Rate for both manufacturers and non-manufacturers is 9% Interest per Annum.

iii. Federal Government Palliative Loan Duration/Repayment Period

The Federal Government Palliative Loan term is 24 months for MSMEs and Manufacturers (Working capital), while Manufacturers (Asset financing) has a 60-month tenor with a six-month moratorium.

In the repayment of the Federal Government Palliative Loan, banks will ensure equal and consecutive monthly repayment of principal and interest for the tenor of the loan.

7. Submit Federal Government Palliative Loan application form after completion.

8. Wait for disbursement
